First of all noticed the whole 2nd floor smelled of sewage, complained and found they were aware of the problem and were trying to correct it and could only do treatments and dumping at certain times. Secondly upon boarding we were given letters of notice that all the fun shops on board would be closed for the whole duration of the cruise. Nothing was opened for simple toiletries that may have been forgotten or if you did not want to get of the ship to purchase souvenirs you would not be able to purchase any on board. If you expected to watch a dive in movie and have your popcorn, forget it, the popcorn machine was broken the whole cruise as well. Oh, lets not forget the large groups that had been drunk and fighting and no security was called. We also had several room near us that were to the same party and would yell from cabin to cabin also banging on doors early in the morning shouting to wake up the ship hit something. We also were stuck in our cabin when a fight broke out down our hallway not once did security come to address this, no the drunk man in the casino. In the serenity spas they were well over capacity limit I counted 31 people standing in one spa, also children were there as well and they were not addressed. I WAS given a bottle of wine and was to be given a credit/discount sent to the cabin and email for future cruise. YEAH right is was not delivered to the cabin nor to my email. I too called and was told it will be sent again to my email and it was not. I doubt I will ever see anything at all. My husband just retired from THE PORT AUTHORITY and we are familiar will various lines and have traveled many. While some better than others they are usually all pleasant and relaxing no matter. As for this one, it was awful and totally a disappointment in the relaxation department. It literally was worry some smelling raw sewage and human waste, it was loud and violent atmosphere and ship was half up and running due to shops being closed. Not what we expected at all from this Carnival Ship. The ship is beautiful and food tasted good for the price, but surely not a 4.5 Star ship more like a 2 Star at best. Cabin was average,it was clean but sink in bathroom would take about 5 minutes to drain completely, but still would have been alright if the rest of the cruise would have been good. We want to relax and be peaceful and this it was not.
