We originally chose this cruise because we would be seeing 7 or 8 ports in 14 days. After the hurricane Norwegian, understandably, changed and reduced amount of ports to 5, including an overnight in Aruba. However, due to circumstances, Aruba was canceled completely, leaving a 14 day cruise with visits to only 4 ports. This was unacceptable to us, considering there was very little culturally and scholastically to do onboard except daily art auctions and sometimes an art lecture. Disembarkation was totally unacceptable. Four or five color categories were called at once, creating not only total confusion, but a two and a half hour wait outside the ruise terminal in the middle of winter. The crew just wanted us off the ship so that they could get it ready for the next passengers coming onboard. I feel we were treated like cattle instead of people who had paid Norwegian quite handsomely for the cruise. They already had our money and did not care how we were subsequently treated. We were on the Breakaway last year at this same time. We had a great time on that cruise. We feel that in most areas, Norwegian had definitely lowered its standards. Crew was not up to par, the ship was not kept as clean as it had been, onboard activities was subpar, much of the entertainment was exactly the same as last year, and the things that were different, were not as good as last year.
Much smaller than any other balcony room I ever had. There was no more than 2 feet of closet hanger space for two-four people to share. My husband and I had to get out of the other's way if we wanted to get to the other side of the room.
