Cool weather on sea days but great time......first timer on NCL, previously 5 times RCCL & 1 time Carnival. Great service, clean ship, more of a freestyle feel. Loved ports. Both of us had Unlimited alcohol package and was no problem getting a good drink on a regular basis - bartenders were all great. Adjusting to freestyle cruising was different for us, as a couple was harder for us to meet new people.......but I am sure it is great if multiple couples are cruising. We were ok with it.....just different. Comedian and acrobatic shows were outstanding. Going into this cruise we had in our mind that NCL was a peg or two below RCCL and after this cruise we have them near the top. Must point out a class act - we had a scheduled excursion at Roatan, Honduras for Maya Island tour & snorkel/beach. It was an overcast day and they advised forecast was 20-30% chance of rain and offered full refund if we wanted to cancel excursion......NCL this means a lot and I hope you emphasize to your operator as we heard other excursions did not offer this "out" clause opportunity. We stayed with trip and signed off on it. We have booked another NCL cruise on Bliss in October.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Inside

Cabin IA

Inside space as expected............shower was bigger (Great!!) than our previous cruises on other lines, but the toilet placement is awkward and hard to use for taller people as legs up against wall. Had some noise from entry door due to ship rocking in rougher water, but maintenance called and fixed the next day-great response time!! We were also without air conditioning in cabin (multiple cabins affected) for a short period in morning one day and maintenance was on it and fixed quickly..........Kudos to NCL for their policy of guests not leaving dirty dishes in hallways. We did not know of this (RCCL & Carnival both allowed) and when we placed outside our cabin one day we received a pre-printed card asking us in the future to leave for our room attendant in room. I am sure this a safety issue but also keeps the halls looking cleaner.
