We thought a new cruise ship would be fun. Supposedly the "latest in Italian cruise technology". NEVER AGAIN! Most of the crew was all new to cruising. Our waiter at dinner each night complained of long lines in the kitchen. We didn't get food until it was cold. The lights came up for the next seating before we could finish our meal because it took so long to get to us. We took to ordering 2 entrees and appetizers because often entrees or appetizers were inedible. We actually lost weight on the trip! The ONLY thing good about the food was the bread. Shows were excellent. Vegas quality. But we spent 6 hours the first day trying to find toilet paper for our balcony suite. Our room was kept clean and tidy. But the lines on the ship - for food, for a drink, for EVERYTHING. Getting a chair poolside is IMPOSSIBLE. Getting a drink at the bar took 45 - 60 minutes. It was CRAZY. Given the price of these rooms (3 balcony suites) I would have thought we'd at least get decent food & service. On the Bahamas shore excursion, the tour operator continually spoke negatively about Americans. Her disdain was topped only by what she described as the ZIONIST PROBLEM in the Bahamas. I couldn't believe it! So much hate!

Cabin Review

Cabin was smaller than expected. Toilet paper and other essentials were not stocked at embarkation. Mini bar was never stocked with what was supposed to be in there. BUT our room staff was EXCELLENT. The highlight of our journey was joking with him. When we requested something it was found - though often much searching seemed to ensue.
