On the Magic at Christmas. Activities were good, cabin was clean and roomy, service everywhere was perfect. The only drawback, and this was a huge one, was the dining. Buffet choices were poor, food was not appetizing. The diningroom staff were excellent, but the food there was not up to other carnival cruises I have been on. Turkey dinner at Christmas tasted like deli turkey. I like Carnival but would not sail on the Magic again.

Xmas activities were holiday oriented and merry. There were a lot of families on board and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. We found the Carnival APP to be really helpful while on board in keeping up with all that was going on. My cruise mate and I enjoyed the ports of call and the ease of leaving the ship. There were 2 pools on the ship and a few hot tubs which were perfectly situated. Overall, it was set up like many of the other Carnival ships.
