Very slow internet:

Pay $70 for 100 minutes, spend 10 mins on the internet and 90 minutes watching the little circle go around. Sea Princess has a very out-dated internet system. Apparently it is being updated on other Princess cruise liners but until it happens on the Sea Princess, it should be changed to a data-usage charge system or should be free. They are simply gouging everyone at the moment.

Suggestion: try your own mobile as a Hotspot, but make sure you have a fixed data charge on your mobile while roaming or you will be hit hard. Even with the higher charges it would be cheaper using your own data at each port when onboard. Or alternatively, go ashore and find a free wifi spot. Read more
