Sail Date: Mar 2017
Cabin: Ocean Suite

We booked this cruise for our 38th anniversary and stayed in a balcony suite. We were given some fun perks that made it fun, such as an anniversary gift and certificate for the art gallery. It was usually too windy to really enjoy the balcony but did enjoy the large ocean view. We had taken a short cruise over Christmas on Carnival in 2010 and it was very crowded and noisy so we were skeptical, but this ship was stopping at the places we wanted and the price was good. We were pleasantly surprised by the ship and the food. We have no complaints other than the fact that they have no adult only pool area like Royal Caribbean does and the entertainment was geared toward the party crowd (and in my opinion bordered on inappropriate at times). Their amenities were adequate and sea days had some nice options for us retired folks. I have no complaints and would definitely book another cruise on this ship. (in spite of the weird pink decor).

Cabin Review

Ocean Suite

The cabin was very nice. The main thing the suite had over the regular balcony unit was the jetted tub and double sink vanity. I don't really think it was worth the extra money; a regular balcony unit would have been just as good.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

We chose to do our own thing. First we caught a cab to the old town and walked around before heading to the park to swim with the dolphins. This experience was a once in a lifetime experience and included all the food you could eat. We had booked direct and got a great deal for the most deluxe package. The beaches at the park are not good for swimming but you can easily spend the day at the park without running out of things to do.

Miami

We had time after the cruise to rent a car and go to the beach. It was a beautiful beach and we enjoyed our walk and dinner at a local Cuban restaurant.
