After a disastrous honeymoon cruise on Princess Cruises we swore we would not do another ocean cruise but after a fabulous river cruise on Viking we decided to give the smaller ocean ship a try. What a wonderful experience cruising the Mediterranean on Vining Star. The smaller ships offer more hospitality and luxury than those monster cruise ships and the food was not only the best I have had on any previous ocean cruise ship but it was also the best I have ever had in any restaurant.

The trip we took in 2017 went from Venice to Barcelona and we enjoyed every moment on the ship and during the destination excursions. The cruise we were on was called the Mediterranean Odyssey with stops in Italy, Croatia, Greece, Monaco, South France and Spain. We both highly recommend this trip. We will only cruise on Viking lines in the future and are currently planning another trip this this year.

Cabin Review

Cabin penthouse Veranda

Large comfortable stateroom with a walk out balcony. kingsize bed and big screen HD TV with lots of movies and shows to watch. Bathroom was beautiful and modern. Better room than most luxury hotels.

Port Reviews
