We live in Tampa Bay area and decided to take a short cruise out of Tampa. We have been on many RCL cruises and usually select this line because we are Diamond in the Crown and Anchor Loyality Membership and get some perks. Food was average but no complaints. We had a balcony cabin and our attendant was excellent. Shows were good not exceptional. Service overall was very good. We didn't get off the ship for the Cozumel Port. Have been there before and just wanted a little quiet time near the pool area. Couldn't get that during the 2 days at sea, but we totally expected that. Our one issue was the smoking in the casino. We normally don't spend any time in the casino but would have if there was a non-smoking mandate for that area. There is a small portion of the casino that is non-smoking but doesn't help at all. Even just walking through the casino to get to another area ship you smell the smoke. We have been on the Brilliance about 10 years ago and have noticed that it does need a little face lift. Areas appear to worn and tattered. Overall a nice little getaway for us which was most convenient as we walked off the ship and were in house by 9am.
Cabin was very clean but noticed some areas of the balcony that could use some updates.
