Sail Date: Jan 2018
Cabin: Balcony Stateroom

We were on the escape back in July, and the Getaway is almost identical, so it was easy to get our bearings on the ship.

Cabin - The cabin was appropriately sized, but we wish it had more power outlets. Our porter was friendly and helpful, although we had a few nights that he forgot out towel animal, which is something my wife and kids look forward to each evening.

Dining - The specialty restaurants were very good, although service is extremely slow. Expect meals to last at least an hour (Cagney's was almost 2 hours for a dinner for 4 without dessert). breakfast each day was at the Garden cafe, and with was good. Although 1 day was at O'Sheehan's, and I had an excellent Omelette (get the bread basket at breakfast). We really liked O'Sheehan's for a quick meal, although we ordered shakes one evening (extra charge), and were very disappointed. It was as if they forgot the ice cream part of it as it wasn't very cold, and was more milky. I had read that Ocean Blue had a good to-go window on at-sea days. We tried it out, and all got the Lobster roll. It did not disappoint us.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BC

Cabin was nice size, and spacious enough for our needs. We do wish there were more power outlets than the 2 in the state room, and 1 in the bathroom. The balcony felt a little small.

Despite being next to the aft stairwell, we surprisingly didn't get a lot of extra noise.
