Sail Date: Jan 2018

My daughter and I went on the cruise to celebrate her 21st birthday. We had always sailed on the larger Carnival ships. The Liberty was a first in the smaller ships for the 4 day Bahamas cruise. Cookie, the cruise director, was excellent. He was quite entertaining and engaged the cruisers throughout.

Food: We love guys burgers as usual for lunch and on our day of arrival. We did eat in the MDR 3 nights of the cruise. The cruise left Port Canaveral on Sunday. Formal night was Monday. The food was not that special. On other carnival cruises steak and lobster were include. This one was just steak. Not a very elegant meal. I was also disappointed to see cruisers in sweat pants on elegant night. I did eat at the pizza palor and the Sea Food Shack. The sea food shack was reasonably priced. We got steamed shrimp was very good. The pizza was perfect. No extra charge. Overall the food was good.

Entertainment: We went to a couple of shows. Overall the shows were ok. The hasbro game show I really loved. The rock rendention was meh. Flick was good. I didn't know what to expect so I was overall pleased with it.

Cabin Review

Cabin verandah

Beds were not comfortable but the room was decent size. Shower was large enough and water was always hot.
