we decided on this cruise because our son turns 18 soon and then its no more kids club. we have been on 4 cruises with carnival and the kids club has been incredible on every cruise. however carnival needs to step up its game. we have stayed in the same suite on every cruise , the ocean suite. nice to have more room and bigger balcony, and the room was really nice as it has been on every cruise.

why would anyone want to go to Santo Domingo??? really? what a waste of a stop. this is a big city for the islands and not very pretty or safe. no shops or beaches or restaurants any where near the ship , just a pavilion with a couple of booths which is all we did here. everyone we talked to that took cab rides or busses to some shopping districts said they did not feel safe, very seedy and a mistake going. the port isn't even close to the downtown area. plus the harbor we were in was full of garbage floating in the water, gross....never seen anything like that at any port , ever!!!! Carnival do not stop at Santo Domingo , EVER.

Amber Cove is always awesome and Aruba and Curacao were amazing.
