We chose the cruise for the itinerary. The ship itself is getting dated and is in dire need of an update. Not as clean as I would have liked - had to ask to have beds cleaned, found old bread underneath my bed. Cabin really worn out. Holes in curtains, lampshades. Two ports with tenders. Really long waits in Belize to get onto a tender, and the ride to Belize itself is long. Roatan was a blast. Dining good but disappointed in food choices. We did zero excursions with Carnival, did them all ourselves and happier with that choice. Bar service poor - often we would stand at the bar ignored. We were billed for others' purchases. You cannot call anyone to have this corrected - you have to go down to guest services. Fewer deals at the shops. Cruise director annoying - Justin Timberlake wannabe. Activities typical. Entertainment good. Enjoyed the shows. Comedy mediocre.
