Chose Harmony of the Seas because it was new and a Mega ship. We knew before booking we would not be taking Excursions in Ports (as we always have previously) for various personal safety issues (our own opinion--there were no incidents while we were visiting) However, though we had the Fitness Center to ourselves, while in Ports, the activities for the "stay on guests" were not that interesting or creative...(coloring for Adults?)

Since all else was so terrific, I think that area can be greatly improved. The shows Fine Line; Grease and both Ice skating shows were Broadway quality--"Columbus the Musical" was really bad, in our opinion. The scenery was great, the cast were all outstanding, but the story line was very weird (again just our opinion) The tribute band of Bon Jovi was packed with guests for the first 15 min., then most, young & older left the theatre. The Comedy show was as expected for an adult audience, we actually enjoyed the opening Act even better than the main attraction, but both were funny. The Infirmary: we were lucky, it was open, their hours of operation are limited and considering the ship has over 6,000 guests plus crew, there was only one Dr. that we saw. Exam was very, very, very brief, Dr. was difficult to understand and lacked any bedside manner, plus the treatment and meds. did not cure the issue. Main Din.Rm.Silk:we were treated like Royalty by Razvan & Johnathan--thank you again. Overall, loved the ship; food; appearance; staff. We tried some Specialty restaurants, but honestly the Main Din. rm. and the buffet food quality was as good, if not better at most times. Truly hate that they charge for Rm.Service, it was a GREAT perk on a cruise ship--please eliminated those fees!

Cabin Review

Cabin Deck 3 Inside

Although it was our choice for an Inside Cabin, we personally would never do it again. We have always had a ocean/balcony cabin in the past. This particular Cabin was an odd shape, making it larger than most. It also was very quiet yet close to Elevators and a Main Din. Rm. It had a long hallway and no other guests past your Cabins because the location was off the usual path.
