We took a 12 day Miami-Miami on December 17, 2017 with stops in Guatemala, Mexico, Honduras, Colon (Panama Canal) Costa Rica, Belize, and Key West. First time on Oceania.
Ship: Ideal size, 1250 capacity (we had just over 800 on board), Very tasteful decor throughout; loaded with original art. Very classy. We had rough seas several days, but we did fine. We do 1/2 of a patch behind the ear. They say you can't cut it, but you can. Works fine... just wash your hands well after applying.
Room: Out cabin (7086) was very comfortable, roomy enough, with a very nice veranda. Excellent cabin service. They brought ice twice a day, kept our mini fridge full. Limited television options. Internet was generally good but can only use one device at a time.
Big enough, comfortable beds and bedding, nice towels, very efficient with lots of drawers, cubbies, and hooks. One closet, but worked fine for us. Free mini-fridge water, sodas, etc., which are replaced daily. Bottles of water available everywhere. Very pleasant veranda with two chairs and a table. Plenty big- we were not cramped on it. Excellent HVAC system. Cabin has both 110 and 220 electrical outlets. Bags will fit under your bed. Entire ship, including cabins, are very tastefully decorated. Bathroom had regular and rain shower heads plus a tub ! Very comfortable.
COUNTRYSIDE AND RIO DULCE BY LAND: 1.5 hour bus ride each way to see what's left of Castle of San Felipe. Absolutely not worth the time or money.
Had not been to Key West in 25 years. Really fixed up and very pleasant. Skip the tours and just walk around. You can go to Hemingway and Truman tours on your own.
Went to the NCL/Oceania private beach thing. Only a year or so old asnd very pleasant. Lots of beach chairs, eating spots, and very nice big pool.
