My brother, sister and I (plus spouses) chose this cruise as a family get together. The ports of call seemed more interesting than some of the other 7 day Caribbean cruises and the timing/price was right for all of us. All in all it was a good choice.
As we were all from different parts of Canada we arrived in Fort Lauderdale at different times one or two days before the cruise. My wife and I were the last to arrive on the day before the cruise. We did a little exploring before dinner and retiring to our hotel.
On the day of the cruise we had breakfast and caught a shuttle from the hotel at about 10:00 in the morning. We arrived at the cruise ship terminal quite early. Check-in was smooth but we had to wait about an hour before we could board the ship. (our fault for arriving so early)
Typical cruise ship cabin. Comfortable, clean with lots of storage. Handy to the forward elevators. The TV had lots of choices for movies and shows that you could watch "On demand" although I didn't have a chance to watch much as we were so busy with other activities. My only complaint would be that the only plug-ins were located at the desk on the opposite side of the cabin from the bed. As my wife has a C-PAP machine we had to run an extension cord across the room every night.
