Overall a pretty good cruise. For the Oasis Class ships, Harmony of the Seas is much better. Allure suffers from the pens and brush strokes of the designers who thought that things like small kiosks that disrupt the flow of guests in the Windjammer was a good idea. It also suffers from RCCL's current focus on trying to squeeze more revenue out of guests by charging for nearly everything. They have closed in open spaces to make more suites, and made suite only areas on the decks creating almost non-existent places to sit. Pool attendants couldn't be less interested in enforcing their own rules about saving lounges, and just look the other way.
We found the staff to be lacking (as compared to previous cruises), security people were disorganized and nasty to guests, and generally had a very uncaring attitude.
Food was ok, but really nothing special. Harmony of the Seas had much better food, and so have the other, smaller ships.
Cabin was like most any other cruise ship cabin. All the standard items. Quiet and comfortable. Stateroom service was good. No complaints.
