Sail Date: Dec 2017

We were a group of 15, ages 84-17. Most of us were in balconies on deck 7. We have cruised many times, mostly on RCCL ships, but also CCL. We chose the Oasis mainly to experience the ship. Our itinerary changed due to the Hurricanes, replacing St. Martin with St. Thomas, which was fine with us as we have visited both ports in the past. I pre purchased 2 drink packages, as well as 2 flights on the zip line and 2 cabanas on Labadee. I did most of the planning for the group, and hosted a pre cruise party about a month prior so that we could share information and book all of our shows. I made a miniature "windjammer buffet" which everyone got a kick out of.

First off, the ship is amazing! I loved the concept of the neighborhoods. Everything was kept very clean. I won't do a day by day review, just touch on the things that were most important to us.

Embarkation: Easygoing! We were dropped off by 10:00, breezed through check in, waited briefly, then allowed to board. I would recommend getting to the port at the time we did. I like to board early to see the ship before it gets too crowded and to begin taking advantage of our drink package!
