Our first cruise was on the Norwegian Star for New Years 2018.

The departure was from San Pedro which was a disappointment, don't plan extra time for siteseeing as there was not much to see and the restaurants where underwhelming.

Boarding the ship was so easy and quick, Norwegian was prepared and friendly staff pointed us all in the direction we needed to go.

Mid-Ship Inside

Cabin IB

Compact but functional. There were four of us in this room so we had to be considerate of each other. Everyone had a drawer and a shelf so if you are organized and you get along well you will fit in this space just fine. It was clean and the room staff took great care of us.

Port Reviews

Puerto Vallarta

We walked off the ship and climbed aboard a local taxi with another family we met standing there. We had a full day touring silver shops, tequila tasting, seafood restaurant and beaches. Our taxi driver was lovely. This was cheaper than booking on the ship, it was safe and fun.

Mazatlan

We did the same thing again, just walked off the ship and found a taxi. The same family joined us and we had another great day touring the city.
