We have travelled with MSC previously, although these were short local cruises. We received an ad with regard to the cruise from Durban to Mauritius and decided to make this our 2017 holiday.
Overall, the booking, embarkation and staff were amazing. We had what we needed for the duration of the cruise.
My only criticism of the entire trip was the entertainment content in the bars and lounges - there was the same sets of music being played every single evening - if there had been a shuffle of the entertainers, or even more sets for each entertainer group then there would have been variation. However, the entertainment in the theatre was MAGNIFICENT!!! with different shows each evening.
Cabin Review
The cabin was clean and the housekeeper was always available to assist. Our room was cleaned each day and our bed turned down each evening.
The bathroom was a lovely surprise as we had a shower door instead of shower curtains.
