Chose this cruise with friends from the local area. Stayed in balcony cabin 7658 which was very clean and comfortable. Our cabin steward Nadine was most helpful, kept up our room well. Be advised the ship is worn thru out all areas but still okay. Food was good but not great. Seem like mashed potatoes and broccoli with every meal in the dining room. Had dinner one night in Geovanni's and it was great. Still feel the specialty restaurants are overpriced and underused. The Windjammer is typical cafeteria quality food. Nothing spectacular here. Our shore excursions were great. Salsa Salsa Margarita in Cozumel, Segway in Cayman and Bamboo Beach in Jamaica were lots of fun for our group. Lots of excursions available for all. Entertainment on board was mostly okay. Variety shows were great, singers and bands not so much. Background music to loud and drowned out the vocals. The Ice Skating show was the highlight of our cruise shows. Don't miss it, you will be amazed. Service in all the lounge bars before dinner and shows is lacking and under staffed. IMO smoking should be eliminated from all cruises. Casino stinks with tobacco smoke and you have to walk thru to the theater and ding room. The entire port side in the pool area is for smokers. All the ports had good shopping at the dock. Tender in Cayman went very well. Hand washing was everywhere and used by most. Overall, our cruise was very good and fun for all. Easy and quick to get on and off board in Galveston. Would I choose this cruise again, probably.
