Let me start this by saying that physically, this is a beautiful ship. It’s downhill from there. The food was atrocious. It made school lunch look like a gourmet feast. It was cold, tasteless, and it got to the point where we dreaded going for a meal. We tried the three speciality restaurants, and the verdict is the same. The staff is incompetent. They barely speak English so communication is an issue and they are very poorly trained. They do try,but they just don’t know what to do. Additionally, the hallways smell like sewage. The activities onboard seemed repetitive and not terribly interesting. We landed up spending a great deal of time in our cabin watching CNN or sitting on our deck. We got awfully tired of being herded around with 4,000 other people. The elevators are very slow, often crowded to capacity, and then, they are out of order. We were excited to go on new ship. MSC..never again.
