Off 2,000 passengers, 500 were children on Christmas break and summer vacation and totally unsupervised. Running thru the halls all hours of the night, across the dancefloor, blocking stairwells, spilling food on carpets and chairs, sliding down bannisters, etc.
Our room stewart and dining staff were outstanding. Many of the bar staff were less than friendly. Buffet containers of water were empy several times, and coffee dispensers were cold. The Captain's daily morning announcements were mostly to encourage everyone to book shore excursions with the ship or to book future sailings. There was a lack of sea day activities that were not somehow related to selling a ship product or service. When I got off the ship at one port and asked a Celebrity officer where are we? He said just a minute, I will go ask. The entertainment in the evenings was generally good. The quality and service of the food was very good at dinner in the main dining room and the Tuscan Grill.
Ample space on the balcony for two chairs. Tiny TV. Comfortable bed and pillows. Towels were not premium quality but older and thinner that I expected. Stewart always kept cabin clean and fresh. Ice bucket always full and fruit. The evening canapes were not very appetizing.
