After a pleasant flight we were swiftly sent on the transfer coach to the ship. After photos taken we were on the ship. First impressions were lovely and very friendly. (Well it was getting near Christmas we expected this). We met our cabin steward "Millind" he was so pleasant and ever helpful. First impressions were good. We upacked and found we had more than enough room for clothes ect. Our teenager notice the minibar for sweets drinks and snacks £3.50 each !!!!! and the alcohol was double. Off he went in search of ICE !!!! not one machine was working ALL out of order notices !!!!! We were in the heat of the Caribbean for goodness sake.

We went to familiarise ourselves with the ship it was clean throughout. We didn't see much rubbish about at all and if there was there were plenty of staff coming by to clean it up.

The drinks package was absolutely FAB !!!!!! there is definitely no need what so ever to upgrade it simply isn't worth it.

Cabin Review

Cabin Junior Suite

Both cabins were exceptionally clean and cleaned properly throughout our stay. We had cruised before and stayed in a deluxe cabin. However upgraded on this one. I personally felt it wasn't worth the upgrade !!! more storage space and clarions toiletries why when you take your own anyway. We had a teenager with us and his bed was right in front of the balcony doors !!!, just didn't think it was worth the price we paid, next time would stick to a deluxe and save money. There was a over hang. Which we rang Thomson before and asked they concluded there wasn't yet it was blatently there. It however didn't bother us. The noise at times is a BIG point i would mention. Early around 6-8am and mid afternoon then late 10pm onward could get noisy. Fortunately for us the sun tired us out and we slept though on some occasions we were actually woken by this at different times. Bare in mind you are below one of the busiest places on the ship/ The Pool Deck and Islands Buffet Restaurant.Scaping of tables and chairs noise from people having a great time and closing down and opening up the deck. (One good point the FILM each evening is amazing on this deck)

The cabin is very convenient to the lifts however they do get busy !!!! sometimes one floor up or down is easier to walk it.
