From the moment of embarkation to the day we had to leave the ship, we were treated like royalty. We added on a couple of extra outings in addition to the outings Viking included. I enjoyed every excursion and enjoyed spending some days lazing around on board the ship. The staff could not be more friendly or accommodating to every need and want. The lounge was a very comfortable place to sit with big windows so you would not miss any of the sights. Scenery spectacular. I especially enjoyed the open seating at meal times because I was able to meet so many wonderful people from around the world. The food was exceptional. I also enjoyed each day when the chef came out to tell us about the evenings specially prepared menu. I hope to book another adventure with Viking in the coming years, I would not use any other river cruise company other than Viking.
