Cabin: Veranda Stateroom

Our ship and the crew were a great host for our first visit to Europe. I can't imagine another better way to experience so much, in four countries, in so short a time, one week. Now we plan to go back for Paris and Normandy.

Our cabin was comfortable and the veranda made it much more roomy. It was a great retreat. The meals always offered choices and were always very good as was the service. I would have liked to see local wines and beers with dinner during the voyage as part of the package. The wine and beer with lunch and dinner was limited unless you paid for more. One night we were invited to fill our plates in the kitchen, optional, and got a great look at that facility and how the cooks worked.

The time went so fast that it became difficult to remember what we had done. The first three days were a blur, but wonderul. The trips offered were enjoyable and enlightening.

Veranda Stateroom

Cabin B

We had all we needed in our cabin. There was enough storage, a comfortable bed, power outlets, and a well thought out bathroom and shower. The shower is small but works well. The veranda added roominess to our cabin.

Port Reviews

Cologne

Cologne offers much to see in a walk from the docks to the Cathedral.
