My friend was looking to book one more Princess Cruise so she could advance her Captain’s Circle level to Elite. When she found this cruise was offering a Player’s Club rate of $149 for a balcony for a week, it was a no brained. We booked.

As always, the service was wonderful. I was terribly disappointed in the food at the Horizon Court buffet. The dining room food was satisfactory The lobster dinner on the last formal night was fabulous. Our cabin and balcony was smaller than the ones on the Celebrity solstice class ships. The bathroom is particularly small. The bed was hard and the one size fits all robe didn’t go around my hips. However when I brought these issues to customer relations they added a topper to the mattress that made the bed much more comfortable. They also brought to the room robes from their spa that were really nice with plenty of room to spare.

Where this cruise excelled and went above and beyond my expectations, was the evening shows in the Princess Theater. They were all first rate productions with top notch talent. I had never seen such well done staging with props, lighting, orchestra, pyrotechnics, and talent on any other cruise line. The productions were Broadway worthy and earned standing ovations from the audiences each evening.
