This was our 8th or 9th cruise on Princess and overall we were extremely pleased with our experience.

We had a balcony cabin on Deck 12 (Aloha). It was on the small side but we knew that going in. Plenty of storage area.

There was one drawback. We were below deck 14 (Lido) and chairs were being scraped throughout the day (Lido deck is wood). One day the scraping/moving of chairs began at 5:30 am. (There is no deck 13 so 12 is right underneath 14). The bottom line is that anyone who secures a cabin on deck 12 needs to be prepared for the scraping of chairs. (I can imagine this could be more pronounced in the summer when the weather is warmer and people might tend to stay out of doors longer). No other noise issues.
