Traveling with extended family (3 adjoining semi-suite cabins with balconies). Seated food service was excellent both in quality and quantity (2 shrimp cocktails with every dinner, no problem). We are all from Southern California so embarkation and disembarkation were a snap. Our cabin had lots of storage space. On board entertainment was OK with an outstanding group named "First In Charge". Buffet had a large variety of all kinds of food.

We had cruised the Caribbean before but this cruise was far more relaxing with about nine days totally at sea. First stop was in Hilo. Spring for an Uber ride to the beach with the turtles, saves a 2-3 mile walk. Avoid over-hyped Pineapples and try Cafe Pesto about a block away. Next stop Honolulu. Again Uber to Waikiki beach saves about a 3 mile walk. Our next stop was our favorite at Nawiliwili on Kauai. Take free shuttle to shopping center (not Hilo Hattie shuttle) where there are a number of good shops, Dukes restaurant and the magnificent Marriot at Kalapaki bay. Beach here is excellent. Last port was in Maui where the whale watching is guaranteed. We saw whales breaching completely out of the water and passing with feet under the boat. Only drawback is there is a single dock that can get very crowded and delay boats.
