The Bridge Tour is well worth it.

My wife and I were invited to join a group of 8 other family members to go on this cruise. Because of my previous experience on a cruise, I was not really interested. My wife convinced me that because it is with family that we needed to go.

Let me start by saying one very important thing: GENIE!

While we were planning for this trip we had the pleasure of emailing with a gentleman by the name of Daniel Goyeneche. I thought that he was just a person at corporate who was there to answer our questions and that we would never meet him. I was completely wrong. Daniel met us at the dock when we pulled up to drop our luggage and check in for our cruise. Daniel stayed with us and walked us through every step of the way from the dock all the way to our cabin on the ship. Daniel's customer service and genuine friendly demeanor was impressive. Daniel was our go to person for almost everything that we wanted to do during our cruise. If he was not the one, he would make sure that he reached out to whomever the correct person was. He handled every dinner reservation and every entertainment event that we wanted to do. We ate at every specialty restaurant on the ship and saw every show that we wanted to see. Daniel took care of coordinating our off ship excursions and even personally walked us to the introduction with the people responsible for our excursion. When the cruise was over Daniel even made sure that we knew what we needed to do and when it needed completed by so that our process leaving was as simple as our process getting onto the ship. Daniel even personally walked us all of the way up to customs and immigration at the dock when we headed home. I have no idea what the cruise line pays Daniel but I can tell you that he earns every penny. If it is possible to request Daniel on our next cruise, I would without a doubt request him.

Cabin Review

Royal Family Suite with Balcony

Cabin FS

Our cabin on the ship was difficult to describe in one word. I believe that it is the largest or close to the largest on the ship. I believe that it is called the Royal Family Suite or maybe that is the class of room. Let me just say huge. 1142 square feet with 2 master suites, 2 standard bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 476 square foot balcony and so much more. There was a total of 8 adults and 2 children in our group and we all had plenty of room. The beds were very comfortable and pillows were never scarce. There was a dining table on the balcony with seating for 14 people and we had breakfast out there every morning. There was a bar on the balcony and a 4 person hot tub on the balcony. We actually could have just enjoyed our suite for the entire cruise and been happy.

The housekeeping staff were amazing. I believe that Julian is the gentleman’s name who was in charge of the team. To give you an idea of the level of service that they provide let me give you an example. One day some maintenance people came to the room to repair some things and none of us knew what they were talking about. Julian joined in and said that he had initiated the repairs. They were repairing things that we did not even know were an issue. Julian was always checking in with us to make sure that everything met or exceeded our expectations. The staff handling the bar in the room was always keeping things stocked and asking if we needed or wanted anything different for the bar. There was always the different animal creations on the beds each night and I never saw anything out of place.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly.

Falmouth

The cruise staff does not recommend leaving the shopping area at the dock for safety reasons. Most shops are expensive and food was overpriced.
