DH and I wanted a change for the holidays so we decided to cruise on the Pride. Overall, a fantastic experience! The weather was not the best that week, but that isn't Carnival's fault. We loved the dining room meals each evening. Only ate at the Lido one evening. We really enjoyed the Alchemy Bar and went every night. We also did the Chef's Table, which was AMAZING! The Pride is a great hips, well-laid out and easy to find what you need. Yes, there is wear and tear in a few places, but unless you are really looking for that, you won't notice it. Everyone we met in the crew was so friendly, and out to make the cruise the best it could be for us. Shows are pretty good, and the comedians were funny.
Embarkation was slow due to the ship not arriving until late. While others had to drive around before being allowed to enter the port, we just happened to time it right and pulled into a spot right around 2pm. we were onboard by 3:30 and settling in to our cabin. Debarkation was very easy. We checked our bags and waited for our number. Off the ship and on the road by 1pm.
We loved our cruise, and are already planning another!
We loved the layout of this cabin. The natural light with the French doors is very nice. My only complaint was the spillover noise from the piano bar, which is directly below this location. We had white noise to block it out, but it may be very annoying for some.
