We chose a short cruise to see if we would like the cruising experience. We normally do all-inclusive resorts in different countries so that is what we were comparing this to. First off, the service does not compare. You are pampered and treated so special when at an all-inclusive. On the cruise, we were just one of many. We paid for the upgraded room with the upgraded services. We saw no upgraded service at any point on the cruise. We were told that the concierge would help us and let us know what the benefits were. We were never contacted and couldn't even contact the concierge. We attempted to contact them twice. The food at the buffet was nothing special; the food at the sit-down restaurant was mediocre at best and the presentation was sub par. Guy's Burgers was phenomenal. We believe eating these burgers was the best part of the cruise. I could not believe how small the pools were! That may be normal on cruises but we were shocked.
Nassau -- Tourist trap. Buy this -- Eat here
Princess Cay -- Getting into the water is at your own risk. It was extremely rocky. The buffet was . . . . I don't know what to say about it. Hot foods were cold and the raw burgers were just sitting out under the buffet. Was wondering why our drink package could not be carried over since it is Carnivals Cruise. They love to nickel and dime you.
Room was nice. I did not like that I had to carry a credit card or driver's license to operate the safe.
