Decided on this cruise because it was not too long and departed from and returned to Melbourne. The ship was built in 1989 and was very tired, dated and very much unloved. I have cruised on older ships before but they were immaculate. Not so with Pacific Jewel.

Curtains half hanging down, common areas not cleaned very well.

The food was very very ordinary, including the restaurant. A very uninteresting selection for vegetarians. Eating the same thing day in day out became very boring. Read more
