I We live near Port Canaveral and decided to try Norwegian as we have never been on one of their ships. The boarding process took no more time than the Oasis ofthr Seas that we had taken last year but there the similarities ended. Our cabin, inside, was quite small. We usually book and oceanview but the incentives to take an inside cabin far outweighed those offered for an oceanview so I figured it would be Ok for a week. Everything was in the room! The toilet, the shower and the tiny sink. True there was frosted glass enclosures around both the toilet and the shower but there was no sense of privacy. We found that we were constantly walking through the Smokey casino to either reach the entertainment area at one end or the main dining rooms at the other end. With the exception of the Epic theater all areas seemed very congested. We’re as the Oasis with it’s 5000 passanger count never seemed crowded. The food was just OK, much better on the Oasis. The entertainment was good but we had trouble listening to some of the vocal groups as they were in small lounges with not enough seating. I’ll stick with Royal Caribbean!
