We had an exceptional cruise on the Regal Princess. She is a beautiful ship and the crew was terrific, almost as if they were handpicked. The Cruise Team was fun and quite visible. The ships entertainment was extraordinary and way above that of any other cruise ship which is what made this cruise exceptional, and we have cruised on well over 150 ships. The choreography and timing of the dancers was perfect and the singers’ voices were strong. The ships musicians and singers, especially the teams that played in the atrium and on deck were superb. These musicians and shows made the experience as enjoyable as it was. We thoroughly enjoyed the Sanctuary. The staff was by far the best of all ships as they were invested in making sure we were comfortable and that our needs were met. The food was OK and equal to other ships, and I found the menu boring. My only real disappointment was the pizza, which Princess is known for. They changed the recipe and the pizza was not nearly as good as the original pizza. Hopefully, Princess will read these reviews and will restore their pizza recipe. Pizza on Princess set their ships apart from all other cruise lines. One could always expect a long line to get a slice of pizza, yet on this ship as well as other ships, one could walk up and get several slices.
We booked late and this cabin was assigned. The cabin was great, but the location is at the front of the ship. It felt like we had to walk forever down the hallway to reach the cabin. We did feel more movement at the front of ship than expected.
Love the shopping in St Thomas.
Enjoyed walking through town.
Enjoyed the spice market.
