We boarded Rhapsody of the seas in Tampa, Florida. We stood in line for about 10 minutes before they allowed us to board the ship. We took the elevator up to the Windjammer and had an enjoyable lunch. We took our time knowing we could not get into our cabin until 2:00. We hung out by the pool, and before we knew it, it was time to see our junior suite. I will admit there were lots of shelves and drawers to store our clothing, but I thought it would have been bigger than it was. We had the bed, 2 chairs, and a regular size sofa with a cocktail table. Our cabin steward Sansom was delightful! He always had a smile and was a genuine person. My husband and & fell on the ship and the doctors were awesome, and Sansom was so upset that we got hurt. He made sure we always had a baggie with ice for our injuries. He went above and beyond the call of duty. Our waiter Dean and assistant waiter Andy also went above and beyond the call of duty. They actually cut my husbands food for him as he broke his finger and they were wrapped together. The staff were exceptional. I like the smaller ships for this reason, they take the time to get to know you. We enjoyed the ports of call very much. The Christmas tree was beautiful! The shows were very good as well. We really enjoyed our cruise on the Rhapsody very much. The only complaint that I have is the customer service person we dealt with was very rude. They need to train these people better. Other than that we enjoyed the food very much, the shows were very good, the rest of the staff were exceptional, the ports of call were very good. I loved the blue champagne at the crown and anchor party too. A very relaxing cruise. The fitness center is very small, so be prepared for that if you use it.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite

Cabin JS

There was ample room with drawers and shelves. We had enough hangers as well. The balcony was a little larger than the regular balcony cabins.

Port Reviews

Tampa

We had to board at terminal 6, last year we boarded at terminal 3. Six was not as efficient as 3, but it wasn't too bad. We stood longer than I would have liked. But once on board everything went smoothly.
