This was our 14th cruise and have sailed with Celebrity, Royal Carribean,Norweigian, Disney, Holland America, Carnival and Costa. Our favourites are Celebrity and the large Royal Carribean ships. We have saliled with princess before on the Carribean Princess and we liked the Royal much better. We are a couple in our 50's and were on the ship celebrating our birthdays. This was by far the best embarkation we have ever had, we were on the boat so quickly and we were in the regular line. Our room was open and we were able to drop off our carry on luggage. Our other luggage arrived mid afternoon. We were in a deluxe‎ balcony which has a huge closet, and there is plenty of space for everything. Your luggage just slides under the bed. The balcony is large enough. The rooms have a good size TV with plenty of free entertainment choices.

The food in the two anytime diningrooms was good, some odd choices on the menu, the shrimp cocktail on the left side of the menu is sad-small and they pour the sauce all over it. I mainly ordered fish and my meals were good, on the first formal night I had the shrimp and they were a good size, also had them a second time and it was really good. The anytime dining worked out well. We only had to wait about 5 minutes on the first formal night otherwise we were seated right away every other night.

We also had lunch ‎in the Concerto dining room on two of the sea days and the food was very good.
