We like the "smaller" ships -- this one had about 600 or so passengers. We opted to upgrade to the "mini suite" and that was a good use of funds, although the ordinary balcony rooms also looked good. The mini suite gave us plenty of room. The food was great and plentiful, of course. The excursions were all well-done. We were Venice to Croatia to Greece and back.
We got in 5 days early to explore Venice. We actually could have used another day there -- so much to see and do. But besides that, some of our travelers had weather delays so they missed the embarkation and had to be flown to several cities before catching up with our ship, several days later. Note -- GO IN A DAY OR SO EARLY ON AN INTERNATIONAL CRUISE! Besides ensuring you won't miss the boat, you'll settle in from any jet lag!
Venice was so easy to get around -- we took a Vaporetto from the airport and it was a short walk to our hotel. Then an easy boat ride to the Cruise area. Princess did not offer any excursion to Venice so if you want to see this great city, go early.
Awesome! Great balcony, lots of storage and moving around space. Even a bathtub!
