This was my first time on the Oasis of the Seas, but not my first time cruising or cruising with Royal Caribbean. We drove down from North Carolina to Port Canaveral the day before and enjoyed dinner at Fishlips the night we got down there.

The embarkation process for the Oasis was one of the easiest I've experienced. From the time we parked to going through the entire embarkation process, to getting on the ship was maybe 45 minutes, at the most. Very fast, very efficient. We were in the first grouping of passengers allowed on the ship, as they called all the Pinnacle, Suites, Diamond Plus, and Diamond passengers in the first group.

The ship, as a whole, was amazing. It rarely ever felt crowded, the service in the bars was fantastic, and the food in general was very good. We stayed in cabin 11607, which is a Central Park balcony. The room was a good size and the doors, when closed and locked, kept out about 99% of all the noise that came from outside. It was nice to sit and just people watch from the balcony when we weren't feeling ready for people but still wanted to be "out" of our cabin.

Central Park View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin C2

Spacious, very nice. Downside is the cabin does not cool down once you've been in the cabin for more than 15 minutes. Fairly quiet, and good location.
