We chose this cruise for the time frame and destinations. Our cabin was interior 2385, and we had 4 people in it. It was manageable, and our cabin steward, Suimiasa, brought us extra hangers. Even the bathroom was not too crowded. Yes, the room showed signs of being older (bathroom mirror edges, toilet seat) but everything worked fine. The dining staff in anytime dining was wonderful, very friendly and remembered our names. The common areas of the ship were lovely, with lots of glass fixtures (think Chihuly) and plenty of seating-both on deck and inside. I did not attend much entertainment, but my kids and husband said the shows were good. My son loved his teen club so much that we rarely saw him! Service was fine, from shore excursions to bar to guest services, very expedient and friendly. We are already booked for March!.My daughter loved the fitness center and we enjoyed the Serenity Deck with the hot tubs very much (even in the rain)!

Cabin 4D

Our cabin was comfortable with 4 people and their things. We brought magnets to help with clutter of paper. There was plenty of closet space and they brought us extra hangers. We had enough drawer space for the adults, and we all used the shelves. Bring an extension cord, as there is only one plug!

Port Reviews

Nassau

It was New Year's Day, so several tours did not operate. We just went to the local drinking establishments (along the waterfront). We were accosted by pushy people trying to "give" you bracelets for a donation (or hair braiding was the other biggie). One of the bars we stopped at was out of beer.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

Loved this stop. Very beautiful-booked a tour independently (with credit card points) through Iguana Mama tours to the 27 Waterfalls of Damajaqua-it went off without a hitch. Our tour guide, Raul, was great. The waterfalls were beautiful-scary to jump/slide down a 26 foot fall, but exhilarating! The buffet of Dominican Republic food was tasty-rice, beans, salads, grilled pork, chicken and hot dogs. "Medicinal" rum was included for tasty Cuba Libres, as was soda and water. Major hike up the mountain, but so fun getting down. In the cruise ship center, they have displays on the history of the island, and lots of shops, but they were not pushy.
