Sail Date: Dec 2017

Traveled with children

We recently took our second cruise on the Allure of the Seas. The ship is amazing, with tons of entertainment and a great selection of activities, restaurants and shops.

Our check in was easy as we were in a Junior Suite and did the pre-cruise check in process on line which expedited the process. It was a little odd as we used our set sail pass to get on board (paper) and received our keys when we arrived at our cabin, but it worked fine.

As this was our second time on the ship, we knew about the expansiveness of the options and had already talked about what we wanted to do. We hit several of the headliner shows and did the ice show, aqua and a game show. Everything was great and we were amazed (again) at the quality of the entertainment that came with the cruise. The 18+ comedy show main act comedian was awesome and the ice skating show highlighted the quality of the entertainers that RCL provides.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite with Balcony

Cabin JS

We selected this specific cabin for a couple of key reasons. First, Junior Suites have a different check in than regular rooms which allows for an expedited check in process. Second, look at the floor plan and this cabin has an extended balcony - a few more square feet but not as cramped as others. In terms of deck, the 9th floor by the cabin has Dazzles and is a short one floor down walk to Central Park which is a great are of the ship. My wife and I love the walk in closet and extra space.
