We booked this cruise as a last minute couples cruise. We were excited to cruise the Liberty as we have never been on that class of ship before.
Boarding in Galveston was organized and efficient. We were onboard less than 30 minutes after arriving at the curb.
The ship itself is in great condition and shows no signs of wear and tear. We really loved all the venues and activities.
We were very disappointed in this cabin. We booked an oceanview guarantee. Our stateroom had a tiny 8 inch porthole that was almost impossible to see out of. Royal caribbean should follow Carnival's lead and reclassify porthole staterooms as a lower category than ocean view so that people who book oceanview guarantee get an actual ocean view room, not a tiny porthole. Royal Caribbean should classify porthole cabins as interior cabins.
In addition, early every morning there was a constant, loud sound, of water turning on and off. It woke us up every morning and was quite loud. I'm guessing there was a dishwasher or something above us.
Also, you cannot walk from the forward elevators to the rear elevators on deck 2. It was roped off the entire cruise. If you want to get to the forward elevators you have to go all the way up to deck 4 (you can't get through studio B on deck 3)
