We have sailed Silversea a number of times and love the on board experiences, the suites, the food, drinks, and, especially the service. We booked this one as back to back so we were on for an extended time. Our prior experiences with Silversea was on the Wind and the Cloud which we absolutely loved. The size was near perfect for our tastes and our next cruise will again be on either of those. The Shadow is just slightly larger than our preference so that is the principal reason. We note that several people have commented on the ship looking weary, I would have to agree with that but, it’s nothing that can’t be remedied. Otherwise, it was all good. I can’t speak highly enough of the service and also the Cruise Director on board. We have sailed over 35 times and Kirk was the best Cruise Director ever. The entertainment was perfect for us. One criticism is the lounge chairs were “staked out” way too early and that made it very inconvenient especially for people who have a low tolerance for the sun. That didn’t happen on the Cloud or the Wind, perhaps because of the smaller size

Comfortable, in need of refurbishment. Agree with previous review, television was terrible. Enjoyed the Butler service
