Sail Date: Nov 2009

I sailed on the Crown Princess the week of Nov 28th with a friend and enjoyed a fabulous week. This was my fourteenth cruise, second time on the Crown. Prior cruises have been on NCL and Costa.

We flew Jetblue non-stop from Boston to Fort Lauderdale the morning of the cruise and took a taxi to FLL. We were unable to fly in a day early due to work schedules, but the weather gods were with us, and it was all good. Boarding went fast, and we were stashing our bags in the cabin and heading to lunch in Horizon Court by 12:30.

I used a future cruise credit to book an outside-obstructed guarantee, category F directly with Princess. We ended up in Cabin # E702. The cabin had a large picture window and there was no obstruction at all. The twin beds were very comfy. There was plenty of space for two ladies to store clothing. The bathroom was tiny, but it was fine. We had initially considered a balcony but decided to put the money toward a shore excursion instead. We were happy with our choice on this cruise.
