Sail Date: Dec 2017
Cabin: Balcony Stateroom
Traveled with children

Background information: I am a 44 yo mom. I went on the cruise with my 19 mo daughter and my husband. I have sailed on 5 Royal Caribbean, 1 Carnival, 1 Celebrity, 1 Radison of 7 Seas, and this was my first MSC.

Value: I'd give this cruise a 5 star for value especially when it comes to kids. We were able to afford a balcony for half the price of other cruises which we really enjoyed.

Ship information: The ship is lovely but has numerous flaws that we found bothersome: you can only access the 15th floor with the middle two elevators, some of the floors are blocked off and you can cannot walk the length of the ship (eg you can't go from the 6th floor Black Crab to the Theater, you have to go up to 7th floor to do that which is really annoying when you have a stroller and the elevators take a long time).

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B1

This cabin was comfortable and seemed slightly more spacious than comparable cabins on other ships that we have been on. The balcony did not have a clear glass bottom in this particular cabin as it was at the end of one of the sides of the ship and had metal covering the view through the bottom. The outlet in the bathroom was in the ceiling, which made charging items difficult as the plug would fall out or loosen with gravity.
