Embarkation was smooth and we were on board in no time. Cabins were all available by 1.30pm.

I would have preferred to wait a little longer to gain access to the cabin if it gave the staff more time to carry out their work. The staff work extremely hard and do not have the time to clean each room thoroughly. The grill at the bottom of the fridge was caked with dust, there were finger prints all over the doors and walls. We complained and 2 members of staff came to clean the cabin but only dealt with what we quickly mentioned to them - it never occurred to them to check anything else - The mirrors you could write your name in the dust but as I had not mentioned it to them they did not clean them.

Dining. - The dining staff work extremely hard to satisfy their clients unfortunately I had to skip the evening meal on several occasions due to being sick or having an upset tummy. I was not the only one to complain about being unwell and believe that this is due to other passengers not practising good hygiene. There are no staff members insisting that hands are cleansed with gel before entering the buffet area. This was something we mentioned to staff on more than one occasion. People that do not cleanse their hands properly may not touch the food but they touch the utensils and then the next person contaminates their own hands when using these utensils.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B2

The cabin was not as clean as we would have expected but as mentioned above this is not the fault of the room attendant but that of the management. The staff work extremely hard and do not have the time to keep the standards that you would expect.
