We chose this cruise because it visited three paces we especially wanted to see: Cartagena Colombia, Panama Canal and Costa Rica.
Unfortunately due to weather related issues in Jamaica, the ship was unable to visit Cartagena. While I can understand that some things that are out of the control of the ship can happen from time to time, no other cruise ship visiting Jamaica that day was stranded in port, including a ship that left only a few minutes before our scheduled departure.
While the missed port was the biggest issue for us, we were somewhat disappointed by the shore excursions. They were not bad, by any means, but, perhaps we expected too much. The one shore excursion we were fully satisfied with was the Atlantis Submarine, in Cayman. That is well worth the price, even though it is only about an hour.
The cabin was well maintained, and while a little tight, offered ample closet space. The configuration was such that the closet area made an excellent dressing/changing room.
We purchased the crise ship transfer. It was fine, though, in hindsight, I think it would have been just as easy to get a taxi.
I used this stop to shop and get a small amount of dental work done. Dentist was excellent and I recommend them if you need emergency work done!
