Ship, Cabin, and Dining:

By far, the worst cruise I've been on. The ship itself is old. The cabin had not been renovated and had similarities to a motel. Dining was disappointing throughout the cruise. NCL is proud of their flexibility when it comes to dining - dine when you want, where you want. They have a few complimentary dining (Aqua, Versailles, O'Sheehan, Ginza, & Buffet). Despite the different restaurants, they offer the same food except Ginza. I go to O'Sheehan for breakfast to only realize the food plated is the same food from the buffet. I go to Aqua for dinner and realize they have the same dinner menu as the other restaurants. No variety. Ginza is supposed to specialize in Chinese food. My family (who is Chinese) was not impressed and commented that Panda Express is better. Overall dining service is negative stars because (1) many servers did not know what they were doing and (2) the food was not impressive. I'm used to servers taking drinking orders from all around the table but for some reason, servers walked away after taking only 3 drink orders for a party of 6. To stop the server to complete the drink order was unpleasant, because they were visibly unhappy. To sum up the food, the child in the party was the first to mention the saltiness of the food haha. Never thought I'd have a child who said the food was too salty.
