I am surprised there aren’t more vendors selling leis at the Hawaiian docks The ports were great, however, we arrived at American Samoa on a Sunday so what was an anticipated lively port was quite and not much to do. The biggest negative was the failure of the swimming pool attendants to monitor the day long saved lounge chairs by the pool At times there were more blue striped towels on chairs than passengers. Europeans seem to think they can save chairs in both the sun and shade and became angered when they were outed. The fitness center staff failed to maintain the treadmills as too many had out of service signs on them and the weight machines were in poor shape.
The dinning room food over was good. Sometimes great and sometimes not so. However trying to please folks on a cruise ship is impossible. The Crown Grill was spectacular as was SHARE. The crab feast was a not so great.
The sea days were packed with things to do and the DISCOVERY at Sea lectures were not only knowledgeable in their subject are but a delight to listen to. LOVED IT I have always thought Princess has the best itineraries and once again they proved me right. We enjoyed every port and would take this trip again. The staff was great and did their best to accommodate all we old folks. Cabin steward above board. The staff did their best to bring in more seating for the piazzas they were always crowded because it was a fun place to be. Patience will get you a seat eventually
We really enjoyed the mini suite. No complaints about the room loved the mattress and sheets and plan on buying the sheet sets. I purchased magnetic hooks at the hardware store and put them on the walls to hold studs from sunglasses to tickets. I purchased a tropical bouquet in one port and enjoyed it for days.
