Sail Date: Dec 2017
Cabin: Balcony

We booked the cruise to spend the holidays doing what we love to do...cruise. But the ship is really showing wear and tear and needs more care than it received in the dry dock. The carpet in the public areas needs to be re-streached or replaced. Some chairs had been recovered but some not. However, the staff made it a fun time. They were always cheery, happy and seamed to really love their jobs. The cabin we were assigned was in a good location for either the central elevators or the aft elevators. That made getting places easy. Our weather cruising over was not the greatest but coming back was mostly fine. If you are planning on a Hawaii cruise, pack for cold weather. When we arrived at the Big Island, there was snow on the volcanoes! The ship seemed to be at a cold tempture all the time so most people wore jackets!

Balcony

Cabin B2

Standard balcony cabin but needs new carpet and more storage. The new TV's were nice.
